Staff Analysis of the Legislation
SB 154 amends Code Section 16-6-5.1 of the OCGA. It clarifies that in regards to education and sexual assault that school is defined as a “public school in this state or private school that meets” appropriate requirements and that it applies to anyone who is an employee of the school, not just teachers and principals.
